The art of the 3d demo?

    Back in the day 3d demos and benchmarks were constant - tonnes of fun were had with the latest tech demo or 3d rolling whatever from whoever, be it Madonion or anyone else.

    Nowadays the art of the 3d demo definitely seems to be a dying breed.

    Or am I wrong? Other than the demos section of this site, where can one see fun new demos and benches showing off the latest tech?

    Well you could check out scene.org or other places like it for 3D demos. They're not game demos or anything, just artsy coder stuff, but people still love to make that kind of thing.

    Well, although their site is down they still have the file archive up, along with a bunch of links right there on the page to other demo sites that work.
