    Quote myself from Mar 11 2021
    AMD 5800X dropped $90s buck in a couple months,this competition thing is good,what a guess on my part.

    Not sure what you are trying to show me,AMD over Intel well I laugh in your face. In the last two years I have owned 2x3600X/3600XT/3800X/3800XT/5600X/5800X/ Intel 10850K ,possibly some I forgot and bought a Intel 10850K because it was cheap and still is cheap in today's prices.

    How about this ,Todays prices which one would you pick. Hint I put a red square around the one you should pick. I am AMD fanboy but if Intel is selling cheap I am buying Intel,if AMD is selling cheap I am buying AMD.

    @kanenas
    I have 1 5600X left in a box unopened. Debating on weather to sell it/give it away or use it.Got any video of PC gaming at over 5000Mhz on a 5600X,even though I know it does not make any difference in FPS. would keep the 5600X for fun and run the crap out of it.

    5800X 5000Mhz+ PC Gaming

    It is true that after 4.9ghz the benefits are small in games but in other applications that Intel loves I see big differences however the 5600x at 4.9 looks like Intel at 5-5.1ghz but less energy consuming and with lower temperatures

    Yes I know how it works and agree 100% on what you said,I was just wondering if you have any video of the 5600X doing 5000Mhz+ like in PC Gaming. Besides one of my videos I posted somewhere.

    Bought an HP Omen a couple months ago with a Ryzen 3500 in it (not even the X version).
    https://valid.x86.fr/ai8grp

    4.5GHZ all-core at 1.30 v on a very crappy HP mobo. I replaced the stock cooler with a $15 Antec A30 (looks like a mini-me version of the 212 evo)
    AMD has really improved their yield. Insane. I wonder how high this thing can go with 'proper' cooling and VRMs.

    So my 1st build on AMD its ready to rock. Do you guys recomend overclock my r5 3600 with CTR? Or let pbo do their work and stay on factory overclock?
    What you guys recommend now after i install windows and all drivers.

    Leave with stock and let it do its thing O.C. is minimal difference and really only benefits single thread and makes multi core's worse but it's your chip play with it. Most benefit you could do is make sure it's cooled well and O.C. the Ram.

    What's the safe voltage of a early banch Ryzen 5 3600 for 24/7?
    i'm using 4.1ghz@1.32v (1.306v under heavy load) and i'm afraid of Degradation.
    On AIDA stability test my CPU reach ~73°C.

    I have a 3900x and I tried the EDC bug,

    PBO manual and EDC to 1

    Scalar max 10x and 500mhz as max target

    I have the Bus clock at 101.5 (Be aware this will cause issues), dont use it if you dont know the implications.

    rest its auto

    of the 4 ccx the best 2 boost to 4.7 and even surpace a bit now this is single core and it will do it often

    gaming the avg clock is around 4.4 with jumps to 4.6

    I normally just do cpuz tests it hits almost 560 single core and 8550 multi .

    I can oc also my cpu to 45.50 45 43.50 43.50 and that will give more multi but less single

    This is just sharing some settings and scores for my 5950x. The motherboard is an X570 Aorus Master with BIOS F34. The settings below seem to produce the best thermals and the best scores for me. I confirmed core stability using Prime95 (it thankfully maps threads to specific cores and you know what's happening when it's crashing), and with daily usage over the last few months.

    My memory is a 4x8GB 3200CL14 kit from G.Skill, and I'm running it and the fabric on defaults/XMP. I have perpetual trauma from messing up with FSB for a long time now, not about to touch it now, no matter how it's called these days :D .

    I never have faced any WHEA errors (I have a separate logger set for months now), and never had any sort of hang/instability, or USB issues, using at least 8 USB devices at the same time.

    Code:
    === SETTINGS ===

    PTT: 192
    TDC: 144
    EDC: 162
    Boost Override: +50 (now testing with +100)

    2700X ended up 12% slower than 8700k and 7% at 1440p. I think 2700x is holding up pretty well. I dont regret getting mine which im still using untill i wait for zen4.
