Wound up with the following specs:

    2x MSI Radeon HD 6950 2GB in Crossfire X
    Intel i7 2600k @ 4.8Ghz
    Corsair H80 Watercooler
Cooler Master Silent Pro 1000W PSU
OCZ Technology 60 GB Vertex 2 SSD
    ASRock Fatal1ty P67 Professional Intel P67
    Corsair Vengeance 8 GB ( 2 x 4 GB ) DDR3 1866 MHz
Western Digital Caviar Black 2 TB SATA III 7200 RPM 64 MB
    BitFenix Colossus Case
3x LG E2360V-PN 23" Monitors in ATI Eyefinity

And yes, Crysis 2 Hardcore @ 3x1080 without any overclocks is already like butter :biggun: :D

The only piece of hardware that ruins that otherwise brilliant setup is that mediocre corsair cooler.

    How is H80 "mediocre"?

Nice setup. I'd have gone for a 120gb SSD but I guess you have to make some compromises.

    The H80 probably isn't mediocre.

Veteran: We had an argument a long time ago when I was using an H70 in my main rig. I still believe the all in one coolers are just fine and dandy for ease of use, and they work great compared to high end air coolers.

Yes, custom water is better. I am running custom water on my main rig now, but I still use an H70 on my secondary computer. There is still nothing wrong with it. It still gets better temps than my NH-D14. Although my H70 is lapped, that doesn't make a huge difference.

We get it, you hate Corsair coolers, I think you've already made your point. No point in sh*tting on threads because of your personal opinion.

That is freaking awesome.... And don't listen to the Naysayers.... The room decorations fit nicely to the tech power.

But then I'm a minimalist in everything BUT power.

No No it was a discussion, not an argument, also the reason i challenged you is because you said it was 4.2 or 4.4 with HT-on and i said you cant get that with a corsair cooler and i asked you to show pics of stability tests which you did not show,we all know that the corsair is not as good as custom water but dont "claim the corsair to do things that it cannot do without proof" otherwise people like myself who know different will challenge you on it.Not only that it lets other people know who dont know what they can do performance wise.

And all this has nothing to do with whether the cooler is mediocre. Your post was a bait, nothing more.

Highend aircoolers outperform it,supposed to be a watercooler, which it is,albeit a mediocre one...its fact.WTF do you know lehtv with your 3.2 low oc and lack of custom water, come back and talk when you know what your talking about otherwise GTFO,im sick of people like you trying to force an opinion on somebody like myself who has seen it, done it,been there,i know what im talking about!!

If you dont like what im saying then use the ignore button and ignore my posts.

No point waffling on and ruining the guys thread, you have a great setup OP,looks very nice:)

You need to chill. Getting upset at such old age, veteran, might result in an aneurysm.

It is a mediocre water cooler. I claimed only that it wasn't a mediocre cooler. The fact that some aircoolers outperform it doesn't make it mediocre as a cooler.

Is that what you normally do? Then why did you just not ignore what I said?

I'm crapping? I'm defending the non-mediocrity of his setup. :)
