testing gpu... whether need to uninstall driver first?

Hi gurus....
I currently running a Sapphire HD 6870, my friend ask me to check his gc problem into my rig... it is a Sapphire HD 6850 Toxic.... do I need to uninstall the driver first or just place in the gpu directly...
because they are from the same series....?

 

No you dont need to remove the driver. Just put the card in.
