Okay, I have to admit, Knight Rider was my favourite, even over the A-Team. Damn. I had a Hasselhoff tape I listened to when I was a kid... and it had "I've been looking for freedom" on it too. Might even be worth something if I still had it
I have to admit that the A-team theme also crossed my mind for the best intro. But Knight Rider intro is just too awesome to ignore. I also have to give a shoutout to the intro for Macgyver and Duck Tales.
Okay guys, hands down, I so love these shows... "binged" or saw every episode of the A-Team, Knight Rider, MacGyver... I even had MacGyver's haircut... growing up in the 80s, huh?
You had a great argument until Ducktales. LOL Knight Rider was awesome! My Aunt and practically the whole church loved Macgyver! Lol!
You had the Mullet? Popular 80's haircut. This is one show that was extremely popular fresh of the success of Scarface.
I gotta rewind the clock a little. These shows made my childhood awesome! This is my last post in this thread for today. Enjoy.
Well what a week it's been, this isn't exclusively TV news as it includes some movie stuff as well. We all know about Cavill leaving The Witcher and going back to being Superman, which after seeing Black Adam I was actually quite excited to see. Then we got the news that Cavill wasn;t going to be Superman, seems they are trying to establish a younger cast for the rebooted DC (read they want cheaper actors) but now it looks like Cavills going to be working with Amazon to produce a 40K Warhammer series of shows. Warhammer - starring Henry Cavill - Warhammer Community (warhammer-community.com) Not a fan of the Warhammer series, I dip in and out on the odd Youtube video about it and it does seem intriguing but also seems utterly impenetrable to someone who is totally new to it, literally no idea where you would start but I do know that Cavill is a huge fan so it's great to see that he is going to be doing something he loves might even be a good chance for me to dip my toes in to this very big universe, assuming that Amazon doesn't Rings Of Power it.
I'm so sick of young super man stuff.. can't they do different stories for a change instead of doing the same stuff over and over again.
Well, there is the inverse law of diminishing returns, something I am writing a paper on in my spare time which postulates the reason why revamps of old lore suck by inverting the law of diminishing returns in the creative process and so, becoming anti-creative. I came up with the idea after reading about the fast inverse square root by John Carmack about ten years ago. If you apply the following graph to the creative process, you should figure out what I am saying in support of your (and many others) perception of modern repackages of older lore and popular culture. Spoiler It will take me a little while to work out the kinks in the summation, but I'm getting very close now.
So that's where the meme "we have the technology" is coming from ?! Never seen this one before, excellent ! Knight Rider, Mc Giver, really strong contenders as well @Horus-Anhur !! My personal favorite for all the good memories and the "oh boy" which translated in french was "Oh bah bravo" which I found so funny as a child that I keep saying it from time to time. (edit: The A Team intro is incredible as well!) bonus: This one is super old but so good: and the music is absolutely incredible to this day : Mission Impossible !
