Not sure if there's a TV Diiscussion thread but I haven't seen it and since there's a Movie Discussion thread I think a TV Discussion thread is appropriate considering we're about to head into the final season of Game Of Thrones!!! and I'm currently looking forward to Season 2 of Cobra Kai! anyway... My Current recommended watch list Hanna Season 1 (Amazon so you can binge watch) Doom Patrol Season 1 Deadly Class Season 1 (recently finished) Billions Season 4 Star Trek Discovery Season 2 American Gods Season 2 The Walking Dead Season 9 (recently finished) Calm before the storm episode WTF! Black Monday Barry Season 2 Better things Season 2 Schitts Creek Season 5 Veep Season 7 Fleabag Season 2 The Good Fight Season 3 and that's about it for my current watchlist and seriously can't wait!
I enjoyed Breaking Bad and ongoing Better Call Saul series. Would highly recommend it. Watched a bunch of other TV series, but there were too much pattern, story got old really fast or confusing for no reason.
Gomorrah season 4 just started last Saturday. It's an Italian mafia series. It's definitely worth checking out.
So many F*ing spoilers in GoT8 trailer. I love Hanna movie. Will give series a chance even while large part of greatness of movie came from actually awesome acting. Deadly Class looks fun. Doom Squad I already devoured whole. Yes, Time of next set of American Gods is near. - - - - Will add my favorite and completed show: One that did already shown brutal amount of potential:
I really don't watch much current television with the exception of Gotham, Masterchef, and Hell's Kitchen. However on Netflix I never get tired of watching old episodes of The Twilight Zone, and The Andy Griffith Show.
I'm struggling to remember the last TV series I invested time in watching since OG Star Trek. ^ jb might be surprised I also enjoy watching old show like Perry Mason, The Rifeman, Twilight Zone. Hey jb turn yourself on to one of the old Hammer horror classics like 'Bucket of Blood'
Another new show I started watching tonight, Warrior, it's based on the writings of Bruce Lee, pretty good so far, check it out.
When you can take the pebble from my hand, it will be time for you to leave. One of my all time favourite scenes, so good.
Timing! I got a new 55" 4k telly coming today. Might give Hanna a go today, saw the film back in the day and quite liked it.
Congratz on the TV and Hanna well worth a watch, it's different to the movie but some excellent action and overall I think it's a good show.
Never heard of that but I'll check it out. I also have a bunch of dvd's of Bonanza and Gunsmoke which up until recently was the longest running prime time show until The Simpson's won that spot.
I hate how a lot of shows these days might start off pretty clever and edgy or whatever, only to completely change direction at some stage. Great example is that Kiefer Sutherland show Designated Survivor. The first half of the first season was pretty interesting even though it felt like a bastard child of Homeland and 24, perfect easy entertainment with action and a bit of suspense except come the 2nd season, 4 episodes in it felt like I was watching Greys Anatomy in a white house setting, complete with quirky musical cues and all that nonsense.
Deadwood AND Gomorrah? I am impressed. That's two out of two for you my friend! PS anyone interested in Gomorrah should do well to get acquainted with the story of Vele di Scampia. http://www.naplesldm.com/vele.php www.youtube.com/watch?v=Q-JFshvSryw Urban decay blows my mind
The Orville, now on Season 2. Reminiscent of Galaxy Quest. https://www.imdb.com/title/tt5691552/ Thank me later
I will need a recap for Deadwood for the upcoming movie. Else, I will have to rewatch it and this time with subtitles.
Forgot all about The Orville, absolutely superb show, currently prefer it to the new Star Trek, The Issac episode with the huge battle was Awesome! Had me on the edge of my seat!
