meh power schmower who cares about cost at $50 per week i'm $350 in credit and only use maybe 150 to 140 a month of that so it's no biggie for me... It's the cost of hardware here that's the killer 3 hundie for my 5770 for a 5850 you can add another 2 hundie on that my cpu cost me just over a $128 and a quad AMD Phenom II X4 965 Black Edition 3.4GHz $282.43 unfortunately for me it's a case of living in New Zealand miles from anywhere but it certainly doesn't help when Re / etailers hike the prices

Within 4 days, will become 72. FOLD ON...

@ Hilbert, isn't it possible to make a small sub-section in your reviews where you can fold an actual WU (use -oneunit flag) and post its details like PRCG, ETA, PPD, TPF, Power Consumption etc. I know that it doesn't reflect the real world folding but at least it can give the reader a rough idea of what to expect when using these CPUs/GPUs. Just a though...

Overclocking my 9400GT gave 30% more points per day!! Maybe i'll get around to putting my ol' 9600GSO in my workstation to improve my PPD more. :D

    must keep going!

OC the Shaders as they give the most PPD increase. Core and Memory may or may not matter but most prefer to leave it at default to keep lower temps so that the Shader can be pushed harder. Few reports indicate that bumping the memory a little will give you some more PPD. Best option is to try it yourself and see what works best.

Another month until we take Bjorn3D.....A shame we seem to be loosing team members again, daily average ppd for the team has dropped 100,000 in the last few weeks....

i've had a water pump fail on one of my rigs (it's funny, it's been running for over 6 years, i don't know why it stopped working)

the other rigs run ati cards and there's a severe lack of work at the moment.

hopefully things will get better soon.

I thought of sharing this with my teammates so that we can boost your PPD:(Don't think that other teams know)

bigadv WUs are now available to run natively on Windows. On my i7-860 @ 3.8, it gives me a Credit of roughly 60000 Points. Do note that they take ~3 days to complete if folding 24/7. I am running it on my system with -smp 7. With my CPU @ 3.6, I couldn't make the deadline as my system isn't dedicated. If you have more information, please refer here: http://foldingforum.org/viewtopic.php?f=55&t=15088&p=149620#p149620

Thanks, mate. Now all we have to do is to convince all our teammates with i7-860 or higher to OC to 3.8 or higher and run bigadv.:)

Right now I have 2d 20hr 08m to process the WU

Anyone notice ATI's having a problem getting work units lately for the last week I've been getting maybe 1 WU a day and the rest of the time is spent trying to DL 1
