Ok i just upgraded to new asus p5b-vm do mobo and an intel e6600. I used speedfan and it is recording system temps of 56C. Thats my motherboard temperature right? But my cpu is real low. each of the core temps are like 35C and 34C.

Is 56C dangerous system temp? And why my cpu so cool ><.
Also I should mention i used my old gateway case. It has a rear fan and it cant be plugged in cause its 4 pin and the only 4pin i see is the cpu-fan and i already used it for the cpu heatsink/fan. So basically my system just has the cpu fan for the cpu. There is also a fan from the powersupply directly on top of the cpu.

So should i worry? if so what do i need to do. Thanks

PS. Can i overclock with such sys temp even though cpu temp is low?

nvm i fixed it :p basically i found out you can still plug in a 4pin connector to a 3pin plug. At first i plug it into one that didnt have Qfan auto control so rear case fan was blowing 100% so loud but system at 38C. I replug it into one that has Qfan control and now its awesome. Not so loud and the temp is like 45C system which is fine i think in exchange for silence.
