mate if i knew i wouldn't be starting this topic, maybe i missed the question mark :D, my fault.i wish i knew how to remove this god awful bloom, but i really like this game shooting mechanics, weapon sounds, and cover system shooting, it's like nothing i played before in the fps genre, wish the story had more and not too linear gameplay, but that's what u get these days :)

after searching found this command: xr_effectmodels 0. It's supposed to reduce the overdone bloom by disabling some of the effects. Input it while ingame and use ctrl+alt+~ to enter console. Let me know if this helped. I can't test this myself because don't have this game. You could also search for other commands in console. Have a good day.

Am I the only one who doesn't mind the bloom, I'm only about 2 hours into it mind so it might get worse later I guess.

I guess so. It hurt my eyes so much i made a reality check and decided

    - 50% = bloom hurts
    - 50% = boring gameplay

    = 0 % motivation to keep playing

    FAIL

I like the game, it's like FEAR in a Mirror's Edge type setting. There were some points that if you looked at the bright areas your eyes hurt but don't do it! I think it should've been toned down a bit but it doesn't spoil it for me.

Could be ctrl+alt+ยง (the button left side of "1").

Does setting frames to render ahead limit 0 or 1 and disabling vsync in nvidia/amd control panel fix/reduce the input lag? Also there might be some console command to disable mouse smoothing.

Usually it's vsync causing the noticeable delay between mouse movement and images displayed on screen. I would try forcing it off from your graphic cards control panel before trying anything else.

To add there seems to be a advanced config tool available for this game. "SynAdvCFG - Syndicate Advanced Config Tool v0.2.0". You guys may want to check that one out.
