Switching amd mobo to amd mobo

Hi guys/gals

I am switching my Gigabyte 78LMT-USB3 for a Asrock 970 Extreme4. Besides Lan drivers, audio drivers and HDD drivers, what else do I have to remove to avoid and boot up issues?

 

I went from an 880G Extreme3 to a 970 Extreme3 R2.0 and had no issues without changing anything.

I then went from a 970 Extreme3 R2.0 to a P67 Pro3 SE and neither had any issues.

Really its up to you but i'd just reinstall windows to make absolutely 100% sure because remains will always be there but I very mouch doubt its gonna be an issue.

 

If i were you, i would format (clean install of windows)

just to be sure..but thats just me!

 

Agreed, a clean install of Windows would be preferable.

 

mate i have that mobo and i think its got issues with the cpu ur running, 8 cores native support isn't very good with the 970 extreme 4, i might be wrong though, give it a try and let me know, I'll go get myself a 8350 too!!
