Click the Home button in Cnext > Preferences > Radeon Additional Settings. This will open CCC "lite" which should have switchable settings. Unless your graphics card is part of those that have a bug and won't show any switching settings in CCC.
Yep, SG menu is in Additional Settings, took me a while to find this out. It will open a menu like the old one in Catalyst Control Center.
Installed over my old CCC, worked ok using what was posted, but really cumbersome. Tried using DDU to uninstall the amd software and reinstall crimson, menu was missing, couldn't download using additional settings Crap drivers for switchable graphics, not in the new settings menu.
LOL. I am laughing out of pain. I thought that PXAA Mobility 4xxx + 5xxx laptops were a pain in the butt. This is a whole new reality. Well done AMD.
We haven't started making a new UnifL driver but shouldn't the leaked Beta Crimson driver work? As far as I recall the driver kernel is the same as the official Crimson release no?
Today i've tried to install on my friend's hd7670m regular crimson driver but turns out that hd7670m is in legacy part of gpus so only crimson for legacy gpus will be installable on it. As amd states on its legacy driver download page: What is even more interesting, when i finally managed to install these legacy drivers on laptop with hd7670m+i5-3210m in radeon settings panel there is no "video" settings, same in ccc-lite. I wanted to enable fluid motion video on this gpu.
That's right, but when you go to amd's site and you fill search fields with "notebook graphics", "hd7xxx" you are being moved to regular crimson, not to dedicated legacy one.
