You need to start GPU z after the game has started.

I tried to start the gpuz after the game/benchmark and its still at 0mhz... so its not switching to it....
only time i see it start up is when dual graphics is enabled when loading valley benchmark I see it go ... it goes 800 mhz and 64-65% usage then after loading goes back to 300mhz and stays there even when benchmark is running with poor frame rate.... after I close benchmark goes back to 0mhz....

    14.9 is broken.

Try 14.9.2 beta (newer) or the previous stable 14.4 or 14.6.

Thanks for the link, but how do I know this FunkyMike's SG Fix patcher worked? Because I installed latest Catalyst (14.11.1 beta), rebooted then applied patch with this application, but nothing seems to happen.

The program doesn't show any message telling me the patching has finished. No button works after clicking on patch, so and I can't close it either. The only way to do it is killing the process (DDPE FIX V2) in task manager.

The window just stays there, and its CPU usage is like 10%. Was this supposed to happen?

Sorry it was a patcher that we used internally so I guess you found a bug. All it does is changes to the registry. Hit apply. Close and reboot.

    Don't forget to reboot.

Well, thanks for the reply, but with official 14.11.1 beta from AMD power states bugs have arisen again: not shutting down, returning directly to desktop after hibernating nor waking up from sleeping.

I reverted back to Catalyst 14.9.2 SG Fix by Mahmound, and everything is working fine again. I hope he or someone here keeps releasing modded Catalyst drivers, otherwise I'm screwed, because every single official Catalyst driver makes the power states issues appear again.

You are not the only one affected. But loads of different dell users report on all sorts of different solutions to this.

    Am still looking into it.

14.11.1 should improve advanced warfare performance
