Yeah this is strange the log file is normal everything loaded but the shaders don't work in game, but the screenshot function does work.
It's the same engine as battlefield 3 and the config file and ingame setting are identical so it should work.:bang:

try use his config and after play write if is not too dark... :)

He prefers darker image and I prefer the lighter. I like his shots, and I see them often on community page for dead and thrills but for me is too dark his setting. That's all.

Here is my flickr collection if you would be interested in. I prefer ENb but Sweet FX is also good tool.

My settings aren't for screenshots ;) The only reason I take screenshots is to show how good the game can look for gameplay :p For most of the game, I played and took screenshots that only used SweetFX with a conservative HDR setting (I think I inspired most people to use it, heh).

It's only been in the last few days that I switched to a much darker preset for fun :)

Do what you like guys. I personally like bright image in the day with natural and unsaturated colors. And freaking dark at night! :p

I like darker tones that create plenty of contrast.

BTW: Loving 1.3 so far Ceejay!

Yeah, i also prefer the slightly darker look for night time.

You might lose alot of detail, but the default one looks like they are somewhere suffering from some of the worst light pollution ever.

Loving messing about with this so far, unfortunately yet again i'm actually playing any games, and instead trying out dozens...still fun though.

Never cared about injectors. Real edge detect MSAA/SSAA is much better.

    Hi everyone,

first of all thanks for this great tool that SweetFX is. Giving second life to old games and a new look to new ones.

I just have a hard time figuring out how to get SMAA working nice, every settings i try or take from other people seems to do nothing about it. My games still look jaggy, and i can't see any difference with the injector turned on or off.
The injector works fine and i can play around with contrast, colors and stuff, but the SMAA seems not to be working.

When I look at some screens posted here, I really don't understand why I can't get something near those eye candy graphics.

I tried it on Dota2, Dishonored, GW2, Fifa 13, BF3 and so on but none of them benefited from good AA. I disabled any form of ingame or driver forced antialiasing (306.97).

So do both. My anti-aliasing is typically accomplished through SGSSAA. This injector is for doing so much more than just AA....

For BF3, you'll definitely want to be using the in-game AA. The Frostbite 2 engine doesn't place nice with other forms of AA. I think SMAA helps... but not much.

For Dishonored and other Unreal Engine 3 games, you'll be relying heavily on driver-forced AA. I can't help you with ATI, but with nvidia, you'll want to get yourself the nvidia inspector. These settings will get you these results.

SMAA is a nice last resort when in-game AA isn't really available, and driver-forced AA doesn't work.

Thanks a lot NeoEnigma, i tought SGSSAA only worked for transparency textures. Awesome rendering with your settings but big performance cost, my 580 finally has some work to do ^^

Without SGSSAA, a lot of the finer details will still be jaggy.

I have a 580 as well, and I run all games at 2880x1620 at least :)

Don't need to quote every huge image :p

My most recent screenshots you see there involved an ENB palette file and config I managed to thoroughly butcher while trying to tweak to perfection. I've been meaning to go back and fix it, but I have to start from scratch, and I need to be bothered to open Dishonored again. I've been focusing on Borderlands 2 lately.

I think it will be a fun experiment reproducing the same color correction I applied to this game with ONLY sweetFX. So I'm sure I'll revisit it at some point...
