    OBS with (or without) the LLV plugin worked....yes and no.....I´ll have to deactive the CRT - effect, to make a video. And I can only make a windowed video with a very poor quality.

    Actually I just made Arma works again by .. using notepad++ for editing the preset instead of the default notepad :bang:
    I tried this when reading elsewhere that "error X3000" could correspond to a unicode error
    I'll try later for L4D2

    About your advice : I never renamed the settings.txt when using Sfx, only the line inside to make it correspond to the preset's name and it always worked, but I'll try this in the future :D


    By the way your work is epic and often my choice when using presets, than you for enhancing games visually :D

    edit : avoiding editing via notepad for windows makes L4D2 works too, problem solved :eek:

    Heya all,

    I made an eFX-SweetFX bundle that includes a lot of efx dll versions. Basically every messy bundle I could gather off the web. From v1.9.20 to v1.9.60, sorted into their 32 & 64-bit versions, with the exception of .20 available only in 32-bit (from what I could find). I also compacted the bundle so SweetFX_settings.txt is sitting inside the 'sweetfx' folder, instead of the game root. Saves clutter and easier to uninstall. Readme files are also inside that folder. Unnecessary/deprecated files were removed, resulting in a total of 3 files and 1 folder sitting in your game root. I also reformatted and cleaned efx.ini, removed deprecated lines.

    Using these files you will be able to create bundles for 32 & 64-bit games, working under Windows 7/8.0/8.1. In fact the whole beauty of eFX is that it works on 8.1, whereas regular 1.5.1 SFX bundles don't. It also avoids the need for Radeonpro.

    You can slap over a working bundle any SweetFX preset and it should work just fine.

    When installing presets, e.g., SweetFX_settings.txt files. You have to paste it into the 'sweetfx' folder, because that's where SweetFX_preset.txt is directing the injector to load the SweetFX preset from.

    Please read the readme.txt I supplied with this bundle. I won't reply to those who didn't bother reading it.

    This sounds brilliant, thankyou! Will test it later.

    Edit:
    Quick look at file structure, may I recommend a change for the next version? Rename a copy of the DLLs to opengl32.dll for OpenGL games, which are becoming increasingly more common (like Wolftenstein - The New Order) saving an extra step.

    Edit2:
    Incidentally, Wolf doesn't work (60 causes a dump, 30-45 reports in the log an 'ill-formed processor directive') and game won't load. Perhaps one reason Crosire is working on the next-gen injector :)

    Edit3: FTL, another OpenGL game, also doesn't work. 60 causes a dump, 45 allows the game to load, but eFX is disabled. Error is again processor directive, I wonder if this is fixable with your packaging? Exact error is:

    I may have forgotten an important note here. Well I said it earlier, but perhaps not as clear.

    When installing presets, e.g., SweetFX_settings.txt files. You have to paste it into the 'sweetfx' folder, because that's where SweetFX_preset.txt is directing the injector to load the SweetFX preset from.

    And another note for now.. yes, it's all temporary until Crosire and friends come up with a new injector.

    EDIT: made a small error in efx.ini, regarding the log file. I'll update the download links soon.

    EDIT #2: I noticed that sometimes regular SFX presets won't work. I'll attach a generic preset to the updated bundle. Use that to initially determine if SweetFX works or not. If it does, alter the generic preset with the regular preset mods. This means you will have to re-do your tests with eFX.

    I don't know. In the pictures that were posted of Skyrim with and without this mod, I liked the one without it better. The smoke shows more and there is more detail in the trees that is hidden by the darker shadowing in SweetFX.

    There was already a preset included in your old version. This is what I used in my tests above (simply enabling monochrome to clearly test its effect, beyond the eFX logo).

    If there's a newer file great, but where's the link?

    - Fixed log file definition.
    - Added opengl32.dll wrapper.
    - Enabled Monochrome on default preset.

    Like I said, first use the preset supplied, start the game, if it's black and white, sweetfx works. Then check SMAA etc'.

    I usually refrain from using SMAA. In most cases it's better to research Inspector hacks for better AA.

    Just tried the opengl wrapper in Doom 3. The eFX splash logo comes up, but no sweetfx effects are working. Not sure if I've done something wrong or if it just doesn't work with Doom 3?

    EDIT: I see Martigen also can't get it to work so I assume it's something with the injector. If anyone manages to make it work I will be very grateful.
    I badly need sharpening to counter the blur that comes from forcing SSAA in the id Tech games.

    @glitch.. black & white works, but game appears too dark?
