Ceejay, will we see Crosire's efx soon along with sweetfx?
Thanks for the information there, I'll try it out and see if I get different results on WoW. It's really...tough to look at WoW without sweetfx on, everything just looks so pale and...well you get the idea.
So any other recommendations on what to try? or is this a "wait and see" type of deal?
Yeah I know the feel just not with WoW.
You could also try RadeonPro, while it's tool for AMD cards you can use the SweetFX part of it on Nvidia cards if I recall correctly. Otherwise it's a wait and see kind of deal.
Have you tried Boulotaur's injector? (if you aren't already using it and you could also try RadeonPro.)
Does the log file show any errors?
Honestly I don't have an answer, All I can do is ask the usual questions.
Is there any tool that allows me to preview the changes as i make them?
Some ENB for Skyrim have a tool for this, would be nice if there was something like this for SFX too.
Now you need to clarify what you mean by previewing changes. preview changes from original game to sweetfx or preview current settings to changed settings?
If it's the first then yes, there is a split-screen option in the settings file.
If it's the second one then no but you can take screens of the settings before and after style and cross examine them. Honestly a tool like that would not be a priority if even if could be made.
Also link to this supposed tool would be nice cause I have only ever seen the manager/changer.
EDIT: Actually never mind about the tool, I remember now, it's a part of ENB itself with all newer versions of any given ENB with the last year or so.
rayman + SFX work for me if I set Uplay offline. Online crash everytime with sweetFX. Castlevania without problems with Boulotaurs SFX except 3840x2160 resolution.
Windows 8.1. DX11 SweetFX does not load. It will need an update.
Yep, but i want 2160p in Castlevania! Why it crash?
I use Sweetfx with Civilization 5 Brave New World on Windows 8.1 rtm. Looks gorgeous. You need to import Sweetfx into Radeonrpo and all works in Windows 8.1.
Video is in DX11 mode.
here is a video of a my present http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2MnZIsR2eMY
and also you can download my presets for CIV5 there.
i do not know. I want 2160p too I have this problem only in Castlevania. 3840x1620 (21:9) working without problem but 3840x2160 crash...
For me 1620p dont work too...i dont know why this happen. With Rayman Legends is the same, crash and sometime blue screen in 2160p!
Try it with other 2 PC, same problems! :bang:
What Nvidia driver do you have?
Hello all, does anyone have any idea why Sweetfx is forcing me to use shader model 3 in Rome II? I can use shader model 5 when sweetfx is not installed.
I have a GTX 780 with up to date drivers. If you need a dxdiag I can give one, but I'm hoping this is a common problem with a common answer (although google suggests otherwise) :-/
Big problem is people posting that their games work with SweetFX in Win8.1 without telling us which DirectX they are using. We already know DX9 works, we don't know if DX10 does but we know for sure DX11 doesn't with CeeJay's and Boulotaur's injector. Just saying that SweetFX is working with win 8.1 when using RadeonPro is not insightful, confirming that DX10 and 11 works with RadeonPro is helpful, posting a video on Civ5 with no details to what DirectX you are using is not.
It works with dx 11.2. I play CIV5 in DX11 mode.
Just tested Sweetfx with Need for speed most wanted 2012 on windows 8.1 in dx11 mode.
Here is it http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zjfIRop8Q9k
Thank you.
Time to update the FAQ CeeJay. xD
You are welcome.
Thanks to CeeJay for his great Sweetfx!!!
