New resource system destroys the game like i said in my last post.
Other things just add oil to fire.
What's the point of the experimental submarine which can build aircraft? It has no weapons at all to defend itself, costs a ton to build, can build aircraft which cost the same as in a cheap airbase, can't repair aircraft that land on it, and without the need to refuel aircraft anymore it's last purpose has disappeared. Am I missing something??
Ya the mundane new economy really ripped the heart out of the game. The experimentals were another big aspect they messed up IMO.
though i've not played the first.
Just played it...not very impressed. Nothing beats good ole TA!
Wow, this stupid game offers so many resolutions, and the one I want is at the end of the list, but I can't scroll down the list, and the list goes off the edge of the screen.
Whoever is responsible for this should be fired.
tl;dr: I can select every resolution, except the good ones.
Select the highest you can choose, then apply, then try and choose it again, you should be able to select your native then.
Yeah I had this same problem. Had to select 1680x1050 before I could see 1920x1080.
Who the **** plays at 23 htz? Seriously, they should put all the normal resolutions first then the weird ones last.
Thanks for the help, but I already tried that. Using this method, the highest I can get is 1400x1050. If they got rid of the stupic refresh rate options (i. e everything that isn't 60hz) then it'd probably work.
Fix for those having problems with the game out.
(Everyone gets these problems, seems the leaked version also has this issue.)
EDIT: Also seems there's a large update out for the game already.
Have you been playing the full version Jonas?
Got my shiny retail copy in the mail this morning...too bad the rest of the world is retarded and I have to wait 1day 16hrs or some B.S until steam will let me unlock it
Yeah I own the full game, still fiddling around with Steam though, the steam://install script only works to preload the data this time.
I just played it guys one skirmish win and deleted the game. The game is totally messed up the few buildings with shields and stuff, few units to get experimental u have to wait like 1h lol... in that time u can beat shi* out of ai with just mass of gunships lol epic fail i cant just say don't even want to talk about the other stuff fails i totally disappointed GG.. I go back to first supreme commander...
I read that the full update size since release is 4.4 gig,. is that true, my internet is 6 gig a month, it will take me months to be able to update the game so that I can play it, what a load of s#!+
4.28 GB for the entire game (Minus the DirectX redist folder.), yesterdays updated files are around 30 MB or so (Easily seen by sorting files by date to know what's updated.) although there was a slightly larger hotfix right after the US release that might have been a bit bigger, don't know though as I'm in the EU.
The game got very low score from the players :
Having played Forge Alliance I understand a lot the criticism from the "veterans" from SupCom and the older TotalAnnihilation (Was that the name?) titles, it is very much streamlined and very different in how it plays although several of the core system is the same but the gameplay is very revamped, for a variety of reasons like making it easier to get into I imagine and probably sales as well, who knows.
