i would like to import mario 64 animations but i still dont know how to do it :bang:
Mario 64 remake @ UE4 = great idea!
Ask here - http://www.emutalk.net/
Nintendo aren't going to allow you to reproduce their games, you would get a cease and desist before getting too far and big enough for news sites.
Feel free to power on though.
yea thats a big problem i cant release my stuff but atleast i will show some stuffs going on in unreal engine 4 everything is possible right now
Why not just skip rehashing mario 64 and make a new game in similar style?
Look at A Hat in Time
Wow! That animation for Bowser is pretty good - and the fire looks decent too. The effect is very nice but the placement seems a little off.
hmm mario seems to be floating a bit.
is there joypad support ?
yea there is a joy support in unreal engine 4
John Carmack from id software developed side scrolling rendering techniques back in the 1980's and he showed that to Nintendo after recreating a Mario 3 NES level on PC, but they were not interested in PC game development. But I know they have been pretty protective of their trademarks etc.
As long as it's considered a fan-made tribute and you do it for free you shouldn't have any legal issues, like this for example... http://atributetodkc.com/
oh donkey kong country time to import DK in unreal engine 4:banana:
Thank you for bringing this to my attention!
SOLD! It also has music by Grant Kirkhope in it (the guy he did the music in Rare games). Freezezy Peak from Banjo Kazooie is one of my fav pieces of game music.
Yeah it looks really good, just entered beta so maybe we'll see it by the end of this year.
just released my techdemo if you want to try go ahead
Heh that is pretty awesome, good luck with it nintendo are pretty big ip trolls at times.
You say that, but you don't know the religious fervor Nintendo has at taking down free advertising and things fans enjoy. They're very stuck in the past in that regard.
I remember they took down emulator HD textures (yes, most people likely used them in an illegal manner) and did so saying that the custom made textures were based off their older blur textures in design, therefore copyrighted ...
Worst comes to worse you can always just Giana Sisters it and replace basic models and textures to be unique.
How do I disable motion blur???????
