Came in this morning and have been playing for a few hours. What a difference, even timespy is at 7000 now up from 5800ish.
Good stuff, i7 makes hell of a difference. I told you its cpu thats hodling you back even in the second post.
Yeh and the old chip was struggling at 4,3 with high voltage. This one voltage on auto and 4,5 stable for 1 hour stress test
It's not for some new games. Lot of people reported stuttering in BF V on 4t CPUs when it was released. It was a hot topic on their forum. Should not stutter on pre-2019 games though.
I'm not familiar with the 1500 but a Core i5 7600k gets beat by a 1600 in a lot of the new games released (while the 7600k was beating the 1600 across the board when they were released) so that 3570 gonna be a bottle neck (low 1%) in graphically intensive action oriented new games there's absolutely no doubt about it. Don't know if we can link an article from a competitor if not then a mod can delete this : https://www.techspot.com/review/1859-two-years-later-ryzen-1600-vs-core-i5-7600k/ I used an article from a competitor because to my knowledge this site never did a revisit of the 4c cpus. According to the revisit posted above a 7600k can hardly achieve a low 1% fps of 50 fps in BF V at 1080p with a 2080 Ti. So just imagine a 3570k without a 2080Ti... that's surely not pretty. We have computers with Core i5 4570 at my job and i can tell you it's an horrible cpu these days. This being said it should not stutter in old games.
