    Was thinking other day.

With so few jobs around, and it being so hard to get work, i notice all the courses, like .

    Biometrics, genetic engineering etc etc.

Thought it would be nice to show a studying... then actual job.

It would be nice if tutors taught people actual real jobs, not things that your very unlikely to see ever.

so was gonna start it like this.

    1. Studying Genetic engineering...... Actual job afterward... Plumber

    2. Biometric engineer...... Working in supermarket.

    Continue

in my case.... Electro/Mech engineer..... Now wood worker.

Huh? So you mean Professors should teach plumbing and Tech school and apprenticeships should be scrapped?

OMG, you still get apprentiships, havent seen any of them in a while.

    No, as i say.

    studying................ Actual job.

how many people study a smart arse job, but then end up with something else as there is no job in what they studied.

No point teaching people stuff, that doesent result in a real job.

That ones not too far off.

However electrical engineering is a proper true trade as i see it.

Im deffo not proud, and even though i studied, im now in a minimum wage job, but rather this than on the dole again.

Ouch. Might be time to relocate? I know several people who graduated with electro/mech engineering degrees who are presently employed as...electrical and mechanical engineers. Demand for those professions is always very high around here.

You don't study university level things to get a job.
You study to become an expert on that area of science, and then get a job in a company just because you (should) know ****load of stuff related to their area of work.
