It's also faster than mine...... https://imgur.com/a/5qqsssE I can never get the insert image link to work ;/
When i saw news about this benchmark first thought that came to my mind was "what year is it? how long ago was this game released?". I checked it on pcgaming wiki and turns out this is 4 years old game. Why do they even bother to release a benchmark 4 years after game release? Doesn't make any sense. 4k: Spoiler https://gifyu.com/image/IlvM 2k: locked Spoiler https://gifyu.com/image/IlvN 2k unlocked: Spoiler https://gifyu.com/image/IlvT Also for some reason afterburner's osd doesn't work for me in this benchmark.
Default settings at 1920x1080 Gigabyte AORUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Xtreme Edition 11G (Factory overclocked: Boost 1721 MHz, Mem 11448 MHz) Intel i7-5960X capped at 4.4Ghz Average 261.76FPS Hmmm... fascinating.... A Street Fighter: Champion Edition system capability test masquerading as a "benchmark" program featuring inbuilt FPS caps by default. Whatever will they think of next?
CPU is actually underclocked to 3.7 ghz(normally 3.9ghz boost), as I butchered it when I tried to delid and relid. I changed the pics to jpg, or they were 6MB and 3MB+ FFS couldn't get it to just show the images, have to click to get past the protection.
This benchmark is dumb, despite unlocking framerate as described in opening post fps is still tied to refreshrate of display. When i have 75Hz set i'm getting 75 fps, when i have set 60Hz set i'm getting just 60fps in both resolutions: 2560x1440 and 1920x1080. I disabled vsync and unlocked framerate in both engine.ini and usersettings.ini, also created dedicated profile for that benchmark in radeon settings where i disabled vsync, freesync and anything what could possibly skew framerate in this benchmark. I even went that far to go into monitor's osd and there disable freesync, still fps is tied to refreshrate. Anyone has any more ideas on unlocking fps? Now i tried one more thing: created a custom shortcut and added parameters to that shortcut, still the same result: fps is tied to refreshrate.
I wrote in an earlier post: Okay, to turn Vsync off with my Rx5700 I had to add this further line to engine.ini: [SystemSettings] r.VSync=0
