Street Fighter 4 Thread

http://www.iplaywinner.com/ has been updated with news of the new SF4 Dash or "Super Street Fighter IV" as it's now called. If what they're saying is true... this will be awesome, return of the characters from Super Turbo (Deejay & T Hawk), some from SF3 and some more from Alpha (Cody!) plus 2 completely new characters. Oh.. and return of the bonus round (Car smashing FTW!).

If any of this is true I just hope it makes it to PC.

I'd be up for some kind of tournament. Haven't picked up SF4 for a couple of weeks (too obsessed with the Pro Evo 2010 demo) but I'd love an excuse to get back into it.

Out of interest, what's everyone's rating on here? I always seem to float between around 1700 and 2000 with an 85% win ratio.

is Super Street Fighter IV coming out on PC?!? and if so WILL WE HAVE TO PAY for it or will it just be a patch for the PC?

 

Dunno about the PC release date, but it will be released as a standalone game on a separate disc. They were saying current SFIV owners will get a special "bonus".

 

I'd buy SSF4 if it's standalone, just because I don't have this release yet.

 

They haven't mentioned PC at all. They have said it is exclusive to PS3 & Xbox360, futhermore there will be no arcade release.

No doubt a PC release will probably follow months after the console release like SFIV, the extra wait for PC is annoying but is to be expected these days. :/

 

Heres how it'll go. Best of 2/3 Matches, Winner uses same character, loser can switch if needed. Finals will be best out of 3/5 matches.

Ranking points will go like this...

1st - 8 points
2nd - 5 points
3rd - 4 points
4th - 3 points
5th - 2 points
7th - 1 point

I really wanna get this thing going guys but i need to know who exactly is gonna participate i already got a couple of pms from people who know who they are. I need atleast 10 people I think to get this running good, who ever wants to participate in a guru3d tourney pm me.

 

guys all of a sudden my frame rates have gone to **** ... i dont know wtf has happened a week ago i played with a good 4 rounds with someone at constant 60 , and now im getting fps in the 10's my GPU and CPU are at their usual temps and none of my other games except for wow ( wow is giving me error #132 out of no where after running perfectly for nearly a month now ) can someone tell me what the problem and yes i have the latest Geforce drivers installed please dont tell me to do that , i think there is a program interfering with both sf4 and wow i would really appreciate some help
