18.9 in the us.
to tex, like i said. Even i didn't have that much space.
Obviously a typo.
warez version is already in web...interestingly i guess iam gonna get the ps3 version :S
Game is SHORT, very short and multiplayer is big ****, it takes 13GB just the installation file, i saw it.
Max resolution is 1024 in game settings :frown:
This info was for the Direct 2 Drive version. Something like 12GB for the download file (if it's in a zip, you extract that to get the exe setup file, so another 12GB), it extracts another 12GB temporary, then 12GB for installed. So at one point in time it takes up something like 36GB (or 48GB total with zip file download). Or something... That's it tho. If you have the retail copy it's only 12GB. Jeez.
d) really bad PC port
i pick the last one
it's very boring...you just walk->shoot->destroy everything that comes in youre way...the story is weak, i don't think i'm gonna buy this one...
OS: Windows XP SP2 / Vista
CPU: Dual Core Processor
RAM: 2 GB RAM
GPU: Nvidia 7800 or higher / ATI x1300 or higher
Disk space: 15 GB
OMG!!! that is minimum? most people won't be playing the game according to minimum settings.
lol. yeah.. according to bit-tech, at least. the min req't for stranglehold is the system of those people who held their upgrades for the new hardwares coming this xmas. these are computers that are top of the line late last year to early '07. LOL.
so let me say ..pwned :S
Who cares? A 250gb HDD (will take 50 games on average, even more maybe) is like £40 nowadays.
50GB for installation process isn't too outrageous. These installation program are usually F'in ratarded when it comes to space management. They kinda figure that since the files are only temporary that it doesn't matter how much space it takes up since it'll be gone when it's done. That's really retarded since taking up the least amount of space possible is usually the best idea. Chances are it copies all the data from the DVDs to a temp folder, unpacks the files in the temp folder, then makes copies of them into the folder you said to install it to. I don't see how that can come out to 50GB, but who knows.
nope, but 16 gb
OBLIVION takes up 13.1 gb on my PC, and I have about a 100 HUGE mods installed (including VERY high-res texture replacers....4096x4096), plus every official plugin, plus Knights of the Nine, and Shivering Isles.
I have 200+ hours in that game and I'm nowhere NEAR done (not the head of every faction yet, haven't finished the main quest either).
THAT's a lot of content.
HOW IN THE HELL IS STRANGLEHOLD USING UP 12.6 GIGS????
i guess is from the fact that it's not coded properly..just a bad x360 port, but not in terms of framerate..
the game is big cause.....
cutscenes on xbox 360= rendered in realtime
cutscenes on pc= big ass bink video files
... sorry double post
don't know how to delete.
Yep, cut scenes and graphics are what make a game big, not much else. Gameplay can make stuff like Oblivion big.
While installing the game, the main theme plays. I must admit it totally PWNS.
