I recently started to encounter a rather weird problem where when I connect my Xbox 360 Controller (via Receiver) the volume of flashplayer goes from 13% up to 100%, but the indicator in the Mixer is still at 13% and goes up after 10seconds. When I disconnect it again, the volume will go back to 13%.
I tried setting it to 100% manually with and without the Controller controlled but the problem persists.

My Headset is a Steelseries Siberia V2.

Do you have another machine you can connect both devices to see if you can duplicate the problem ?

great, now it is the other way around >.<
    This is so strange!

Also, no, this is my only PC

UPDATE: Even if I manually set the volume to 100% with the controller connected, it will go right back to 13% when i release the mouse button.
Also, I am using Razor Sourround... Will try without it next.

Turning Razor Surround off doesn't change anything :(

FIXED: Since I only reinstalled Windows last week or so, I hadn't changed my Windows Sounds Settings to "Do Nothing" if the mic is used.
