strange behavior when graphics card is no load in GPU-Z tab PerfCap Reason Pwr Idle value constantly changes with an interval of 1-3 seconds, when the video card is idle is this normal or should i worry about this?
please, who has 2070 super take a screenshot in GPU-z in idle mode of a video card, without a browser. thank you in advance for your help
Yeah, even your previous graphics card was perfectly fine, try to put all these technical things in the back of your mind and just enjoy it. Gigabyte offers a really good warranty policy, if anything should happen they would replace it without a hitch. Congrats on your graphics card, it's really nice.
"No need to go to the moon to understand its behavior or topography" The spikes can be caused by two programs, one running in the background ( Microsoft Desktop Window Manager) and the other was my web browser (Google Chrome). Go to Microsoft's website and download the PROCESS EXPLORER. Once you run it go to view /select columns / process GPU and check all the boxes and it will show you what applications are using your GPU and the amount of resources they are using . If you find something out of place you can kill the process from there. Also uninstalling Nvidia Audio driver (IF NOT USING IT)
Thank you, you helped me understand everything. the load is in the range of 0.80-1.14% therefore these jumps are visible
