Some Direct3D games like max payne 2 seem to go SLOWER than when i was using my ti 4200, while OpenGL games like doom3 run a helluva lot faster than my 4200. Can someone tell me what is going on here? I didnt reformat after I installed the card btw, think that might help resolve it?

i ran halo with 45- 60 frames , after i format everything runs great. keeping the card. before format everything ran like crap was going to rma the card. so far i had 2795 sdmark05, 78.87 hl2 video stress test , halo 45-60, doom 45-60, call of duty 35-60. i must have fastwrite or something turn on because it's locked at 60 most of the time.

Erm.. you sure you mean fastwrite and not V-sync?

BTW... What exactly is AGP Fastwrites?

EDIT*: Just remembered.. its like a small amount of memory prioritised for the AGP card.... is it?
