    howdy people.
Well today i cleaned my system and i noticed that the graphic card was quiet sticky. It was like a regular wall sticker. you can feel the sticky stuff.
No other component was like this and when i installed the card it was not sticky at all.
No problems as of now but anyone else got this problem?
It feels like there is some kind of layer on PCB and it wasent cleaned in PCB wash.
no real concern but some dust has started to stick on pcb due to this and that sure aint a good sign.

That is odd, it could be that once the temp heated up the PCB had somthing on it that reacted to the increase temp?

    Just a guess though

    hum.........
ambient temp are not that hot. its only 36C inside the case.
This is first time I am experiencing this. I have gone through like 25 graphic cards till date and for the first time this has happened.
I just wrote to evga support, lets see what they have to say about it.

no, i dont live in some place where your room temp is in low 20s. I am in india and room temp here is over 30C and it has been same for last 10 years of my PC usage. Never before i experienced something like this before.

My amb is like 32C so 36C is not hot at all, but the board itself may get hotter b/c of the core being at 60C, just a thought

    BTW is it both sides?

nope its 1 side only, on the GPU side and not on the back.

did you try cleaning it w/ a soft cloth, or is real sticky......I wonder if its bad to clean a PCB w/alcohol or something, if it isn't try that.
