http://www.boston.com/Boston/busine...ounder-dead/yW26KhPSReaquwjvRwFWiO/index.html =( Guy was a visionary and led multiple companies to success.
He was a huge innovator in my generation (and still is) and it would never have been the same without him. May he rest in peace. Edit: Clear clear clear. Dont. Do. It.
Official announcement from Apple's BOD http://www.apple.com/pr/library/2011/10/05Statement-by-Apples-Board-of-Directors.html
56 is way too young to die. So sad, no amount of business success can make up for what he suffered through at the end. People will likely say "at least he lived a good life". But I'm sure he would have traded all his wealth and success to still be alive and with his family.
idk why but... i feel bad for apple, he really changed the way we see the phones... now i think it will not be the same anymore..
Steve Jobs: The man who made tech for the masses and made it sexy. He is truly the tech version of Chuck Norris. Love him or hate him, he did what no one had the balls and the vision to do so. He co-founded then saved Apple. He was the only one who truly fused artistry with computers. He dared to think different and that's why he was a legend. RIP. deltatux
Glad this has been respectful so far, whether a fan of Apple or not, 56 is far too young for anyone, did see it coming when he stepped down in August though.
I don't think people hate steve jobs...they hate the way apple is marketed though. Apple stores where the entire staff clap for you when you buy an apple product...that sort of thing, that all comes down to the marketing department.
He helped usher in our modern era. And, I daresay, helped spark generations of computer enthusiasts. Like many other great influencers of the modern era, he too has died young. RIP, Mr. Jobs, and prayers to your family and friends.
He obviously knew what was coming and wanted a source of income from a less demanding job within Apple. RIP.
A man who held the technological world back, is dead, and now we can start advancing again. Still, cancer is no way for anyone to go, sorry to hear it.
