I love saints row 3 but hate the framerate hiccups while driving.

 

Guys.
What is your opinion on GTA4? Is it worth getting it. The only GTA I played before was Vise City and I really liked it. The rest of them I skipped for some reason mostly because never had enough time. Also I read that GTA4 did not run well on PC or was it fixed?

Well... for £4.99 you get every GTA game made... so to me it's a no-brainer..

 

Sorry. I made my question not right. I meant if it was worth it not in turms of money. I just wanted to know if it is as good as Vise City.

 

I dunno how you can go through games again listening to the whole story again,once is enough for me,even for the very best of games.

 

Personally, all of the GTA stories for me only get better. From GTA 3, then to VC, then to SA, then GTA 4 and then EFLC.

It is a great series of criminal stories... Each improving on the last one in terms of action, humor and entertaining the player. If GTA were movies, it would be classics up there with Leon the Professional and The God Father series.

I love VC a LOT and am not disappointed with the GTA complete pack purchase.

You can now mod GTA SA, GTA 4 and EFLC before you even play it if your computer can handle it. ENB or Ice enhancer plus a few graphics , car mods alone make it worth the experience.

Is Need for Speed Hot Pursuit pretty good? It doesn't have any Origin or DRM stupid **** does it?

 

So I bought GTA 4 cause it was really cheap, my disks are kinda scratched, just wanted a nice easy install for the future. Problem is after patch 1.4.0 they embedded this HORRIBLE texture pop-in to help performance, is there anyway I can make steam NOT update to this patch? That's the one downfall I see with these digital distributions, you can't avoid patch downloads.

 

Aww come on Rockstar, the entire catalogue is gone now :-/ Before at least the old GTAs were available to me .. all I wanted was Max Payne 1 & 2

 

it doesn't have origin no, it uses solidshield otherwise, and you can activate up to 5 machines, and deactivate them later (of course, if a hard drive crashes you're screwed)

the game doesn't need to be always online either

Everyone who got ARMA 2 (Full game) as a free deal from greenmangaming (last year?) can now access the CDKey from their account, same applies to other games with keys. Saved me a fiver on not having to buy the full combined operations for DayZ.

 

I figured I would spend about $75 -$100 on this sale, since I have been working boat loads of over time.

I have spent $10.20

Hopefully something goes on sale that I want.

I mean there are some nice deals for $4.99 but I either have the games or just dont really care for them.
