I rarely buy games on Steam anyway and rely on third-party sellers such as CDKeys.com and GreenManGaming instead who typically undercut their prices by 20-25%. That's a substantial saving when you buy as many games as I do (basically an extra 'free' game every 4 or 5 purchases). Yes, I lose out on the option of a refund but to be honest the only game I've ever requested a refund on was the Penumba games, which just didn't work on my PC so I had no choice but to ask for my money back.

20% in Serbia? Might as well be 100% will kill the legit purchase market.

It's not overly legit to begin with if no taxes were collected. I'd find it hard to believe games would be considered a tax free item by the government.

    Solution.

Buy Games during Sale and 2-3 Years after release.

Actually good advice although most games go on sale within a year so you don't have to wait that long. The main reasons to wait really are twofold: one, the game's issues and bugs should be fixed; and, two, you'll be able to pick up the complete game as a Game of the Year Edition with all its released DLC by that point.

Just why do we buy games on release day anyway...? :stewpid:

I agree with Darren's comment above- That's what I do at least. In these tuff times spending $60-$100 dollars on a game is just crazy!

I believe that is standard common sense.Until now i followed this advice, never failed. And add GOG to the mix, the second best game store side-company from CDProjekt.

Normally I'd agree, especially with Ubi games, breaking my rules with Wildlands though buying two copies for the wife and I to play through, helps to ease a stressful period (moving to Portugal and selling two properties in Sweden before August!) :)

The game could already be dead afterwards, like multiplayer focused games.

Or the game is already GOTY + DLCs and all bugs sorted out, too.
