Looking likely it may actually just be straight up FSR 2.0. Assuming that what this guy posted is real. https://www.techpowerup.com/forums/...i-survivor-fsr-2-2.307978/page-2#post-5016376 Anyone with some more UE experience able to shed some light? Sound right? or just bs?
That seems to support what I found about the game. This is how I tried to check the FSR2 version: Here is the changelog for FSR2.1, there are 2 new commands. I tried using these in the console, to see if it would recognized. And they aren't.
Really happy i received my gamecode after purchasing a Ryzen 7000 CPU, I thought the offer ended last month. Now i don't need EA pro anymore!
Finished the game, it was great apart from the traversal stutter and occasional performance problems. Fantastic graphics, amazing sound, great story and good combat.
Love the game but the constant crashing on Jedha is killing me. Any good fixes yet besides disabling RT?
Finally finished the game. All I can say is wow! Graphics, gameplay and story is awesome. To my surprise I didn't crash on Jedha with RT enabled during the second trip. It will still crash in certain sections. This game still needs serious patches. The Bounty Hunter bug is very frustrating. It can cause players to miss a cool part of the story and cinematics. If it wasn't for the PureDark Mod this game would've been unplayed and possibly refunded.
Instead of disabling RT entirely, you can disable only Landscape RT by adding r.RayTracing.Geometry.Landscape=0 to the DefaultEngine.ini, which should resolve the RT-related crashes on Jedha. That way you can use RT for other things still but it's disabled for UE Landscape (which is used sparingly in the game anyway and only in a few areas of Khobo and Jedha - on the latter of which it causes crashes). Yeah. I also finished the main story and really enjoyed the game thanks to the Frame Generation mod which made the game playable. Without it, I wouldn't have been able to enjoy it at all. If it wasn't for technical issues and bugs this game has, it would be such a wonderful game. I couldn't finish the game completely due to the bounty hunter bug where I can't advance the Bounty Hunter rumour as well. One would think bugs like this and the RT related crashes on Jedha would have been fixed by now, but it almost seems EA/Respawn have abandoned the game after a couple of (still pretty lackluster) patches.
Thanks for that and I'll try that command line. What's sad is that this could've been a Game Of The Year worthy title but the technical woes have destroyed that chance in my opinion. I will admit that the platforming was excessive which caused dry spots.

Even though the patch does not mention any performance improvements, I'm seeing a smoother frame time graph with MSI Afterburner when playing around Koboh. The patch size was 1.4GB on EA Play.
Stopped playing due to crashes with RT on. I wonder if this has been resolved? It was worse on Jedha IIRC.
Puredark DLSS mod doesn't work anymore after Patch 6, game crashes at start up Removed mod files from game folder and game was working again.
Not much time to test everything with the new patch, but stutter is much improved for me ( 50% ?). Muh blaster seems about 5% better too.
This. I download the latest Alpha 04 and deleted my previous mod folder. It’s working beautifully with the new patch.
I just played around on Jedha for 20 minutes. No crashes at all. This patch has done wonders for the game. Working on my bounties now.
These are the settings he is using. But they are a bit strange. r.HZBOcclusion=1 usually drops performance on nvidia cards. On AMD cards sometimes it increases performance, but in this game, it does nothing. r.AllowOcclusionQueries=0 drops performance on all GPUs, since it doesn't cull hidden geometry. r.RayTracing.Geometry.Landscape=0 I have no idea about this one. Maye @XenthorX knows more.
