Just in case the internet runs out of bits per second

That said, I pre-loaded the beta. Frankly, from the videos it doesn't look like much of a complete game... we'll see...

I'm really looking forward to the beta and try everything myself.

Is it true that there aren't any perks, no specialist roles of any kind, no large difference between weapons and their behavior, no regular vehicles or "kill streaks" (apart from random stuff)?
No races would be a pity for such a game. Hard to balance for sure, if one is large and one is small, but this would be a pain to balance anyhow.
Somehow, Dice always picks and makes game that seem terrible and impossible to balance...

They could have just made any racial appearance purely optical (just skins). No reason for balance then, easily put into the game with only minor visual animation tweaking.

Ok i just played it for the first time for an hour, i loved Walker Assault, and capturing pods game mode i hated.

So far theres some balancing issues in Walker Assault, imperials win too easy imo.
And yes a good team can of course change that, but still i don't think it's very well balanced.

And the shooting is so different and you have to learn it as lasers take some time to travel then bullets in BF4 that almost hit instantly.

EDIT: Is there some kind of forced Post AA? i've disabled AA completely and it still looks blurry and that it has AA applied.
Also tried Low Post Processing but that's not it either. :bang:

Maybe the options don't really represent how the game renders, iirc there has been a bug with BF4 in the beginning where the options menu did show different settings than were applied. And it's Frostbyte, Dice... you know the tune :D

I like nVidia stating that anything over 60fps on MEDIUM requires something better than a 970 when Digital Foundry got like 80 fps average with a 290X on maxed out settings...

    Shills everywhere...

Finally fixed the blurry image, even though i disabled AA in-game it didn't, Post AA and Deferred AA was at 2 and changed it to zero, now i have sharp image i wanted. :)

There's nothing weird about different benchmark sites having different results, it just depends on how the test is run. I personally prefer sites to benchmark the worst-case scenarios.

Is anybody else bugged about the stupid powerups instead of things like fighters, etc. standing around in-game? It breaks immersion for me. Also, Luke Skywalker could at least wear cold gear on Hoth.

04:00 AM it lists for me.

haha it's really like I said with BF4 beta... what a lazy bunch of people :D

I guess it's meant to be that way so nobody can 'hog' the vehicles. And the force keeps him warm I guess ;)

It has more graphics options then BF4, i doubt they're adding more options. :)

I've added Reshade for some sharpening and SMAA, crisp and smooth edges.
