A close friend who works with DICE told me that currently they've done little more than model and sound replacements of their very alpha-level Battlefield 5, with custom maps. In all the word is that it will be quite a bit more sophisticated than BF4, but still very similar.
looks cool but no singleplayer campaign is a bit of a let down. the Force tells me it's a rehash of Titfanfall.

The trailer is comprised of cinematic angle shots so it's not what actual gameplay will look like, but everything in the trailer is what we'll see in the game. The degree of detail of course will depend on the underlying hardware.
Well there it is.... $99(NZD) for the Standard edition, $109(NZD) for the Digital Deluxe edition which gives us some early unlocks. Any day now I'm expecting EA to not surprise us with an Ultimate edition, also known as Premium, for a mere $169(NZD). WHY, IT'S A BLOODY BARGAIN, MATE!
EA with its DLC (and other pubs) kinda make it convenient with their pattern of post release support. Theres no point in buying the game on launch as: 1. Its costs more 2. Its incomplete (lacking content) 3. Performance is poor 4. A bunch of core game + all dlc pack will be released within 6 months 5. Point 4 also comes at a cheaper price with all content vs the launch day price. 6. Waiting for point 4 also lets you know who well the game is at keeping a community/ games life span going. Though, 99% percent of the "PC master race" cant control their wallets so i dont imagine many have the self control to hold out that long.

At least the PS3 and Xbox 360 are not included this time. 60 FPS would be almost impossible otherwise.

Nice trailer, but you know DICE are gonna mess this up with netcode issues, lag, collision errors, desyncs, sucking-hard-storyline. Valve should have done it. They understand these things.

Battlefield franchise is going downhill, this is kinda good way to revive it. I hope we'll see some real gameplay anytime soon.
What is subscription model? Could not find it. I may jump in for aerial battles, but only if they are cool and there is no monthly payment model.
