Win7 x64 is slower than XP x86. I tried to disable Aero but I got same performance. :( but how do I improve performance on win7?

to get good min fps you need to run it 2times.. and I see its very very cpu depended compared to yours, im getting almost 50fps less on avg. lol

how can he/she improve performance for max fps (big jump) and for win7 (small jump)? -> will he/she upgrade from AMD x2, x3, x4 or x6 to Intel e8xxx, q8xxx, q9xxx, i5/i7 xxx/2x00K?

    I would like i7 2600K :) but only 4 cores aren't good nor value(due to expensive). :(

if you have CRT then -> excellent news for CRT monitor: from your default max resolution 1600x1200 to 1920x1200*. :D how many inches monitor?

    * - driver monitor modded by PowerStrip and you need to add new custom resolution on nv control panel for win XP ;) but you may not work on win7 (vista?).

I have CRT 21" samsung 1100P Plus and I can improve resolution from 2048x1536@72Hz to 2560x1920@57Hz. I played game at 2560x1600@60Hz :D but on XP only.

I have 21.5" LCD. ;) I run it at 1920x1080 @ 75Hz (DVI) which is maximum possible native resolution and refresh rate. It can down scale 1600x1200.

    ok ;)
    1. Download and install Java (www.java.com)
    2. You look link (Star Tales) on my 1st post, choose this 1 program (1st click "Clear checkboxes" on button left screen) to download on nvidia site.
    3. Click button download icon (Download Manager required) and thank you! :)

Therefore, only some guys already can post here because other guys (such as @Arctucas) search hardly to download. ;)

Actually, I was messimg around with my firewall and inadvertently must have blocked nVIDIA, I managed to get the file OK.

However, I am hoping someone could help me out with something:

I ran the benchmark at default (~141 FPS), and then I ran it at 1920x1200, maxed, and right after the song began, my monitor just went black, and the monitor power indicator started flashing as it does when the PC is turned off.

I could not ALT+TAB or CTRL+ALT+DEL, it was as if I had no video output.

So, I pressed the chassis rest switch, restarted the computer, and I noticed GPU #2 had disappeared (from both nVIDIA Control Panel and Windows Device Manager).

I shut down the PC, open the chassis and checked all the connections (PSU, SLI bridge, PCI-E slot).

After restarting again, the display was at 1280x800 (I use 1920x1200) and the nVIDIA Control Panel was missing, probably because the nVIDIA drivers were also missing? Additionally, MSI Afterburner popped up saying no compatible hardware was found?

A system Restore managed to get everything working again, but I am curious as to what caused the issues in the first place?

    Does anyone have any ideas?
