    Download SSD-Z, a handy information application for Solid State Drives and other disk devices. Using a database, it will show information about your SSD, such as the controller, processing tech, NAND...

    I have a Kingston 240GB SSD on this portable HP. Tool did not find device, selecting to only show my BD drive.

    HP DV (drive changed, OS upgraded)

    Windows 8.1 / OCZ drive seen as SSD by OS.

    - Stats on post are for other computer.

    It's still in beta so the program may not recognize all devices yet.

    It doesn't appear to work on corsair SSDs. Two separate drives give me this error "Invalid threshold index (181 <> 177)" and most of the info is n/a.

    Works fine for me....gives a caution on smart status but magician says smart is ok....software just needs to evolve a bit

    Hence my post. ;)

  10. Great little tool, and very detailed information. Works fine (on exact same drive as on image), for approx 3 years of usage:

    POH = 563d, Bytes Written = 9,442GB, Over provision = 344,0KB. Never installed any game on it (except initial testing when i got it), half of usage as the one on picture, and half of TB written, it would be far less if not used for VM's.

    Samsung magician says my drive is fine, this program says otherwise. Not sure who to believe.

    I used this a few days back, its a nice addition cpu-z -> gpu-z -> ssd-z xD!

    And I can finally tell people to download this instead of hd tune to check their drive stats.

    crystaldiskinfo does all that, and correctly reads smart info, and is not beta/doesnt need to evolve.
