I was eye ballin a 60GB SSD that will be going on sale for $100 tomorrow. However I don't know if it would be worth it. Should I pick it up? Or save my dough? http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16820227461
Sure. Go for it. It would be mostly for your Windoze 7 OS, right? At $100, do it. Especially since your baby normally runs for $249.

Good find!!!
I hate you for pointing this out. I currently have an OCZ core I got real cheap on ebay about a year ago. 30GB, stutters when you write to it. Awesome though, good purchase, as long as you don't write to it. This looks like a crazy deal though. Want it so bad. Would be nice to have more room...and not lag to hell when installing a program.
Well, tomorrow it is gonna be on shellshocker, so I am hopping it will be $100, maybe less? Better not be a 10% off shell shocker deal... Lol sry "Iplaynaked"
Man, that is an excellent deal. The only SSD's I can get, for a good price, are really ****ty ones, like the OCZ SSDNow series, with their 40mb writes. The really good ones I can't afford, and it's ridiculous thry cost hell of a lot more here than you guys have to pay, eventhough they're made here.
It is a good price. Would be a nice boot drive but that's about it due to 60GB. I would like to transition to SSD's but waiting till Q4.
Sure. Save your money. Why? Because it's about exactly as fast as a 1 TB Samsung Spinpoint F3 HD103SJ harddrive.
That's not true. I mean, maybe as a storage drive, but as a game/OS drive, the SSD is going to go beyond blowing it out of the water.
