I'm anxious to see how it runs on my computer.

Unfortunately, I was nearly 50% done downloading from FilePlanet, and Firefox decided to crash on me.

wow awesome 16-35fps on my computer default driver settings... 1280x960

 

lmao, it runs like a dog with 2 legs on my system, and for some reason its locked on Next Gen quality mode and i cant get it running in standard mode.........grrrrrrrrrrrrr

 

Is it going to have starforce like all the other splinter cells?

No it won't, but it won't run on your system with that X850xt. Only SM3.0 cards for some reason.

BTW its running like crap for me, I tried lowering the resolution to 640x480 but I still get the same 1-5 FPS. WTF is wrong?

Maybe both my cores aren't working in it?

Ubi used to be an excellent company, but they are slowly turning in to EA.

 

ahhhh , it got 2 100% and then i hit somethign when i was typing and it cancelled it , For Fook sake , im annoyed now

 

Weird, my game was running like crap, so I tried turning off one of my cores in the task manager, and now I'm getting 25-40 FPS on average. This is very weird but hey it works.

 

this demo blows, i cant change the settings to standard so im stuck on next gen... looks pretty good but i get 18-25 fps :mad4:

Dont download this unless u have a high end card cause u cant change the settings and i also see a lot of glitchs and errors in the game... i miss chaos theory :scream:

Damm i had high hopes for this game but it just doesnt run, look or feel like old splinter cell games

What a piece of **** demo, i swear who ever ported this was high on mushrooms, i hate ubisoft, chaos theory was so dam nice, perfectly well tuned and almost bug free but this is trash and just an after thought well i say **** em and there other ports, vote with your wallets guys and dont buy this peice of ****. I swear these large stupid game publishers are going to kill the industry, there is only so many ****ty title one has to be tormented with before people completly stop buying games and go all pirate on every title.

 

Yeah, I forgot I had AA enabled in the nVidia CP. Turning it off fixed the problem.

Although I'm not sure that's a good thing.

I'm a guge Splinter Cell fan, but the demo is..ugh..

*The inventory is absolutely horrid. It is so blatantly obvious that it is straight form the 360.
*No AA and no custom graphics options. Sorry Ubi, I don't give two ****s about HDR - and AA makes a game look much better than HDR.
*Frustrating. The game is frustrating to say the least. Some parts are uneccessarily hard.

It's quite obvious that this is almost a direct port from the 360. Chaos Theory was brilliant, and probably the best stealth game ever. It's obvious that Ubi has catered to a wider audience, and almost dumbed down the game.

Apart from the neat moves here and there, I'm not very pleased.
