Seems the page has been taken down now. But looking forward to it if true. https://www.neogaf.com/threads/splinter-cell-2018-leaked-by-amazon-ca.1461442/
A new SplinterCell would be awesome. Been hoping for one ever since the credits started to roll in Blacklist.
Huge fan I played every chapter since the original, one of my favorite series also. Conviction and Blacklist still impress even by today's standards. If Ironside comes back would be Great actually!
It's actually really damn good. It's a bit annoying that they recast the voice actors. Specially since it's a direct sequel to Conviction.... but, the gameplay is really good. I should replay it.
Yeah mine too, that's Splinter Cell 3? Also because of next-gen gfx, was really wow moment all the time
Yup all those wet surfaces, wind effects and cloth animations on dx9. Brought my Athlon64 3200+ and XFX 6600 GT to it's knees. It was wow all the time, fully agree.
Chaos Theory was the Bomb I remember every detail of it. What about Double Agent? I see nobody mentioned it. It was ok for its time and I think that is where SC made the transition to less stealth type of play. Any of you guys played that one???
The general theory is Chaos Theory is the best Splinter Cell game ever while Blacklist is a great game. It departed from the Splinter Cell game play dramatically but on its own, it's a fantastic game.
Just watched a quick vid and Blacklist looks awesome. Was aware of the collapse of Third Echelon from Conviction but had no idea they took the gameplay there Conviction kind of left me with a "not sure how I feel about one of my fav series" anymore type feel.
I've mixed feelings rewarding the Splinter Cell serie. I've loved it until the last entry to the serie which bored me to death with a gameplay that was incredibly linear and lacked any challenge. Also the coop and multiplayer of Chaos Theory was awesome if i remember right. Was a long long time ago !
Double Agent is... okay. Problem is, the PC and console versions are actually pretty damn different. And the PC version is pretty buggy as well. It's not a bad game, it's just kind of disappointing. For me, it's probably the weakest entry in the series.
It was a little complicated the gameplay mechanics but the graphics were pretty high-end for it' time, I still haven't finished that game now that I think about it.
I couldn't finish Double Agent. The game would constantly crash in the final mission, no matter what I did. My only option was to was the end of the game on youtube. I tried every fix I could find, and none of them worked.
