does this help w/ dsl or just cable?
Most tweak thingy's for broadband are for Windows. Windows has some settings that are good only for dial-up, to make sure of a smooth connection. Those setting are generally what need to be changed. Check out <A HREF="http://www.practicallynetworked.com" TARGET=_blank>http://www.practicallynetworked.com</A> or <A HREF="http://www.speedguide.net" TARGET=_blank>http://www.speedguide.net</A> to bone up on some of the settings.
