    Hi,
I've been using headphones exclusively for many years, but I wanted to try something different. Currently im using razer blackshark's, with alc1220 as a source. I like that they provide me strong bass since i mostly use them for playing games, but i also listen to some pop music, and watch a movie once in a while. Now the questing is what do i buy? Should i just buy a 2.0 or 2.1 computer setup or do i get some used older 2.0 speakers and a ~1980's dedicated amp? What is the best choice at this price point? I want to get as best sound quality as possible.

You can get powered bookshelf speakers, like the Fluance AI40. Probably best bang for the buck @ $200.

Or you can delve into non-gamer headphone setup, with a DAC/amp paired, and then find yourself living on /r/headphones.
