It's pretty amazing how they captured the exact look and feel of South Park for the most part.

I'm sure there won't be too many performance issues, as the game's requirements are pretty modest.

No spoilers without tags please. The game doesn't come out for another 1-4 days, depending on your region, but there are already full playthroughs on the internet. Please be respectful of those who like their gaming experiences to be a surprise.

Developer Obsidian has confirmed that TSoT will not use Uplay and will be a full-fledged Steamworks title, achievements included.

 

I was pleased to hear they haven't censored the PC version in the UK like they have the console versions.

Thats good news, i read about it the other day and thought it was stupid to censor some parts!

 

Sources have indicated that the game time will be around 15 hours.

 

That's a decent playtime for a South Park themed RPG I think. I love lengthy RPG's and South Park, but I don't think I could sit through 25 + hours of both.

 

Really looking forward to this South Park game. I was pondering over buying it for the PC or the PS3, ended up pre-ordering it for the PS3. The Steam price is higher than the boxed version for some reason.

 

You might want to reconsider if there's any truth in the claims that the console versions are censored in the UK.

That's unbelievable. I'd be seriously pissed if I'd bought this on a console.

 

By the way, "europe" in this case includes the UK.

Censored here on consoles (not pc).

 

Amazon have the boxed PC version for a penny shy of £28 as that's where I ordered my copy from. Stuff Steam and their extortiate new release pricing!!! :wanker:

I fail to understand why digital games are more expensive than a DVD version. Surely the server overheads work out less than the cost of making the DVD and case, plus shipping?

Yeah, you're right. I looked at the store page at 9:59PM CST and it showed 2 hours left. Got me by 1 minute.

I also goofed up on one of the tags. It says "stick of destiny" instead of "stick of truth". Probably because I was typing out the trailers section at the time. Gotta love how the brain works (or doesn't in my case ).
