I have to change my Titanium HD because its drivers are not compatible with Win10 1903. Do you suggest AE-5 or STX II?
    Thanks!

I'm just gonna warn you straight up EVGA does not know how to write software so I would run from this as fast as you can.

I've made the transition away from dedicated soundcards to USB solutions. Far less driver hassles, and some great audio quality options. And they work on laptops.

It looks that even AE-5 drivers are broken for Win 10 1903, may someone confirm, please?

I've been on it for 2 weeks. No AE-5 issues.

No problem with 1903 and L13_3_2_28, beta 4/8/19 no problem

    Many thanks to everyone.
So, what do you think between AE-5 and Titanium HD? I have always been a fan of Burr Brown DACs, and it seems that Creative will release updated drivers even for TiHD...

Edit: I confirm that's working on 1903 with latest beta drivers, and I answer to my last question, too: Titanium HD is way better, even in direct mode this cards sounds really "edgy" (obvious for this DAC), the only good thing is stereo separation.

I am suffering severe sound crackling/popping with 1903... It is so weird I don't know what to do... Have tried the stock driver, official and beta and still no go... Curiously, setting to 16 bit 16000 Hz fixes the crackling/popping, but it makes everything sound like crap

What AV software are you using? Some have compatibility issues, and cause huge latency spikes. I just had that issue regarding McAfee Total Protection.

No AV, no DPC latency or stuff... Just plain crackling... I am starting to think that my card broke and it has only 5 months

Try it in another PC or with a different OS on a different drive (to troubleshoot, not permanent).
