PS5 look like an amazing bargin consider gpu prices now have we see the price a 4070ti?

Honestly games that on ps5 tend to run a whole hell of lot smooth on ps5 providing they hit that 60 fps stable then do do on pc ports, like nioh/nioh 2 on pc nasty studder in repeatable spots on pc that not there on ps4/ps5 compatible mode or even ps5 native verisons, and if they are in consoles verison i never noticed which would make those studder 4 times works on pc

 

Yeah i'm seriously contemplating a PS5. PC parts prices in general are so otp.

 

I think its horses for courses, my PS5 is great for FIFA23 and GT7 (the only games i have) but flights sims and decent RTS games are a no go with its limited hardware.

 

Luckily i'd still play those sorts of games on my PC. I feel like I need a bit of a change and the PS5 looks pretty good. I'd like to play Horizon Forbidden West as i loved the first game and also always wanted to play The Last of Us.

 

Wow really? I find them very loud honestly. I made a custom EQ which is nice, also I turned off 3D audio, it made surround sound so artificial. Without it, it sounds much better and fluid.

 

Well either your ears are way better than mine , or my headset is just not that loud, although I’ve read some reviews before buying them, and people complained that they are not loud enough for a Bluetooth headset.

PS: on my PC I use Creative G6 + DT 990 Pro and I used them at 40% and they are loud enough for me.

 

Well I decided, I can now join the ranks of the console crowd. Loving the PS5 so far. Graphics are amazing, I have only played God of War Ragnarok and the Callistro Protocol. Just have to get used to a controller instead of mouse and keyboard.

Congrats, as others said, it takes time to get used to the controller - especially in FPS. I had a hard time at first for example on BF2042, but now I run all on 100 sens and im snapping on targets . Give it about 2 weeks.

 

Ive tried and tried since my PS1 but i cant do FPSers on a gamepad, got to be a mouse and keyboard for me.

 

Never tried it myself, but I’m pretty sure you can use a mouse and a keyboard with PS5 right ? Or was that already implied?

 

Probably but then why not buy it on PC for a lot less cash. FIFA23 and GT7 are the only games i have for my PS5, and the PC games i mostly play are not available on console as they hardware is too limited.
On a side note, im running through both Metro 2033 Redux and Last Light Redux on PC as i got them both for £2.99 and the PC version differs from the PS5 version, i followed a guide and there's loads in the PC version not present in the PS5 one.

 

Yeah sure I play on PS5, mostly PS5 games, and keep my PC for the rest. Right now, I’m playing a 3rd time TW3 with RT and it’s a total game changer for me, although at 4K my “old” 2080ti can barely run it

 

Something has been done to GT7 to lower lap times, i always trial new cars at Spa and last night i took three seconds off all my lap times. Cars like the 911 GT3, 718 GT4, BMW M2 and the Type R were all 3 to 4 seconds faster than the best times i could record before Xmas.
