    @tkmskittles Looks like the scheduler tries to let the SMT threads alone (well, mostly). But what's the practical conclusion about the performance and/or the latency figures?

    Latency is much worse with the default balanced power plan this is the video i was looking at

    Really doubt that all/most users would have those DPC latency spikes after 15s idle desktop with 22H2 balanced power plan, something else might be off.

    It's also just a false/outdated assumption that e-cores would only be used for background tasks with Thread Director 2.0. Windows puts game threads on them for a reason (which is performance):

    Windows does a better job of keeping crap off the E cores with balanced.

    You can disregard any video that cites latencymon whilst actively using the cpu.
