No, it's funny how eople in this very thread were saying how the 480 will be close to 980ti and 1070. I'm just saying it's nonsense.

I paid £300 for my 980ti which is around 368 eur. Get your facts rights at least once, please.

Not allowed to debunk the nonsense hype any more? Or should we just all believe that the 480 will be as fast as the 1070?

    I'm not from the UK.

We already know 480 will not beat 980Ti, no need to repeat yourself to death.

    About the Uk thing... j/k

Yup. It should be boosting to 1.288mhz. Overclocked to 1.500mhz it can take out 980 and 390x no problem.

    Looks lovely.

Have you realized that those who mentioned such possibility were met with me saying that they are overenthusiastic about it and it is highly unlikely to happen?

And have you noticed that for quite many pages people are not making such claims?
It is only some weird group of (unexpectedly) nVidia owning members bringing it up again and again.

In attempt to get some flame inciting reaction.

Gaming with OC will be Great on this little Red Devil :flip2:
    Just a note - For 1080p you don't need an 8GB one.

Real tests soon -> Surprise for all :eek2:

Only Nvidia can come up with something like FE 100$ more expensive.

    About those pictures Phyxsyus posted:
It is DDWord, not exactly unbiased site. Two days ago when they bought their card, they made article written in very alibistic way. Stated OC to 1400MHz and possibility to get to 1500MHz.

But since they bought card from shop and not received it from AMD for review purposes, they have driver from boxed CD.
That may not even have OC utility or some advanced functionality.
In general even their images are rough shot at performance. And final performance may go up or down.

    UP :)
And no it can't beat 1070 (not this time, for Enthusiast GPU we need to wait for Big Polaris? Small Vega?)

I have confirmation that 1400MHz is Easy to achieve (no V boost needed)

Having 8gb to play on 1080p can't hurt. =D There are games such as Mirror's Edge Catalyst that can reach 7,5gb of vram usage.

I honestly don't know how reliable the site is, I found this pic floating around on reddit. Performance is just as I expected tho. Time to move on from my r9 280. I hope Afterburner brings support to overcloking this card, I'm too used to MSI Afterburner.

Can you please stop with the nonsense propaganda? You're not making any sense, "Top Hi-End" will cost a LOT more than $199, meaning the $199 is a mid range card, nowhere near top end.

    Just stop, please.

    ;)

I said between 970/980. It'll also have to overclock well because we all know 970 and 980 can hit 1500 no problem.
