Look at the prices in my country: Nvidia Geforce 8800GTX 768MB: USA -> €410 Belgium -> €640 ( 36% more expensive! ) Nvidia Geforce 8800GTS 640MB: USA -> €290 Belgium -> €480 ( 40% more expensive! ) Nvidia Geforce 7950GT 512MB: USA -> €190 Belgium -> €310 ( 39% more expensive! ) Intel Core 2 Duo E6600: USA -> €240 Belgium -> €330 ( 28% more expensive! ) Belgium sucks!
order your stuff from germany jelle, its a lot cheaper there because they only have 16% VAT instead of 21%. you can even save on shipping costs, just drive to essen or so, thats really close.
Can you give me some links to some shops that are close to the border? I live in "Limburg". ( north-east of Belgium ).
i know where Limburg is, im from belgium myself(turnhout to be exact) Atelco.de has a pickup point in Duisburg, Dusseldorf and Aachen, Digitalo.de has a pickup point in Köln, Snogard is in a place called Frechen, which is also in that area. there are probably more, but those are the ones i am aware of.
These shops are not cheaper then he shops the shop in Holland where I buy my stuff ( www.perfect-systems.nl ). But still, it's a lot more expensive then hardware in the USA
Aah .. they changed the price. They prolly had a lot of traffic coming in from Guru3D and quickly bumped the pricing. I found an even better price though ! GeForce 8800 GTX 768 MB eVGA GeForce 8800 GTX Video Card - $522.83 and that's a pretty darn good price for this uber-high-end piece of hardware !
This is the normal price. All other shops just ask 100$ more because they know that gamers with money will buy it anyways...
