    Hi there.
Does anyone of you know a good (and free-of-charge) navigation app for Android which covers Europe?

I had Navigon before which was free on Amazon Underground. But Navigon closed and shut down all its servers, so no updates anymore.

    Any help is appreciated. :)

    Hallo, Ich kann Ihnen helfen.

HereWeGo. It's second best to Google's Maps. For route planning, that is. Easily download offline maps offers route without an internet connection, assuming you are traveling out of your country and your data plan/company need some adjustments or simply unavailable.

    Honorable mentions:
    MagicEarth
    OSMAND+

Sie dürfen "Du" zu mir sagen. ;)
(You may say "you" to me ...)

"Sie" is like the Spanish word "usted" while "Du" is like "tu".
Unbelievable! I have to teach German by using the help of Spanish to explain myself in English. "¡Joder!" :D

HereWeGo had so bad reviews I installed Magic Earth. Seems OK so far ...

I was trying to be polite.
I understand the formal and informal way in German language. Next time I'll use the rude formal way, as in Spanish "Cabron":D;)

On the matter at hand. Been using HereWeGo in SailfishOS without a hitch. Never missed a beat.Maybe it's just me, being easily pleased or haven't found yet those bugs. I'm puzzled.
But hey, whatever it works and is not Google.
Although, using in a Google Android OS, it matters more or less.

Feedback: MagicEarth is cool! It had an issue to find GPS the first time I started it, but it seems somehow the device was messed up. After a reboot everything worked (and still works) as expected.

Able to navigate completely offline amd without any costs!
Just the directions get told a bit late, but still OK.
