Well its been 2 days with no reply,I guess he found his own way.

yeah if hes trying to RMA this card the thread should be closed and or deleated, my 1st thought was he was trying to have some fun with an old MX 2 or something.

    EDIT: FOUND SOMETHING

Well regardless of are solutions…..which 75%.. of them were people joking…I think its obvious he was looking for the best solution as to how he could destroy the card and not have any physical evidence….making it possible to get it replaced…..
If your thinking he’s going to burn the card and try and return it…better think again unless he’s a total moron….which I don’t think he is…the fact he even asked shows he’s addressing the issue the way he needs to….
So basically I’m saying he will get a card replacement … and making manufacture RMA more often will make higher prices but will also make them improve quality. even though this was not a quality issue…and would not….
I had a BFG 5950 go bad on me,, it took 5 card replacements and 4 month before they sent me a used card that worked…so I say F-them and there crappy warranties..

You may have missed the fact that he said it's a geforce 2, which mean two things. The first being that it probaby doesn't even have a fan (removing the heatsink is an alternative). The next if it's wasn't recently purchased then it probably isn't still under warranty (unless it's a BFG lifetime warranty).

Why not take off your geforce2's heatsink... then spill some alcohol drops over its core, then light it... next put it in your rig and watch the nice colours on your screen...

Also why not overclock it to ridiculously high clocks...? e.g. like from 200/200 to 700/1600...? It's nice to do that!
