  1. Will it fry for sure? Or will it work again once it dries out? What's the proper way to fry a card?

You're planning an attack? ;) Or do you want to wash it or something? (wouldn't recommend that!) If you're VERY lucky it will work again when it dries out, if it was off at the time.
When it's on, you'll probably destroy it and it will go FUBAR.

There's a lot more fun ways to destroy a card than that ... HMMM that might be a good thread with live pictures!!!

why not just cover it in lighter fluid or alcohol and burn that baby... and be sure to take pictures.. or send it to me, could always use an extra video card...

in answer to your question lol:

    1. if it was on when it got wet, 98% chance its Fck3d
    2. you would need to dry the entire card out, that includes the gaps under the chips to stand a chance
    3. if the capasitors got wet, i reccomend you bin it. put that in your pc and your bound to see fire, if there not dryed out. anyway chances your gonna do that lol 99.99% NOT
4.if you want to "cool" it by chucking water on it. i advise you think about it aliitle more how about google? and "water cooling". thermaltake do a graphics card cooler which looks, "colourful" why dont you try that insted, tell us if its any good while your at it.

put tin foil on the board so the Circuits are making contact and spark her up….works on home stereos…Countless options……don’t steal my patent Ok…
its Possible they could tell if it was water damage and blame it on a water cooling system leak. Not a good idea.not likely though

I think they can tell that you soaked it in water when you send it back to them...

Yes, they will probably be able to figure it out, and then you'll cry and I will laugh.

    LOL .............

Yea, I agree with rought, I'm pretty sure some type of over voltage would be your best bet.

If you do submerge it, just make sure you let it dry out real good before you RMA. ;)

Microwaving it would be pretty cool. Apparently, all the tiny copper bits get super-hot, and vaporise the plastic surrounding them. This makes really awesome patterns in the plastic, and the smell would be unique.

Of course, they would probably guess that something was wrong when you send it back - unless you're just taking it back to a PC <word that means 'planet') - I don't think they'd realise.
