Was watching duderandom video with gtx1080 at 1440p and it was pushing 40-60fps+. What you are getting seems low if you are indeed at 1080p.

Don't know. I'll try new hotfix and alt-tabing. It's Cry Engine and beta at all
    Official "fix"

yes i can confirm setting vsync to fast and running origin in the background fixes the performance issues.

Is "Fast" vsync only available when you are not on an SLI rig? Can't see it on my drivers. I have the latest ones too.

Tried the beta briefly last night.
Firstly, it looks gorgeous. Really nice, and I really liked all the little touches with the first person movements.

Performance seemed good, a few dips here and there, but nothing major or enough to ruin the experience.
Ran into issues remapping controls though.
Since I use EDSF for my movement keys, I encountered issues when trying to remap the vehicle controls. It would not let me change them from WSAD. I could change the drone controls, and player movement controls fine.

But, then when in the game, the on screen "tip" for controls while in vehicle... were flickering through various button prompts like crazy.

Otherwise, it seemed fine. A mix of FarCry 3's open world design with a little STALKER atmosphere. Could be good, CI don't have the best reputation for "amazing games"... but, doesn't mean they can't deliver.

You see, EA managed to introduce healing features into Origin despite all the hate from gaming community. What a philanthropists!

Turns out it isn't available in the NVCP for SLI users, but was able to force it in inspector and it did actually help with the mouse movement. Its more fast now, was a bit sluggish before.

Not worth the asking imho (I picked it up for cheap) but it is nowhere near as bad as some people are making it out to be.

It needs some TLC is all.

As some of the more objective commentators have remarked, it's problem is that it needed more time in the oven, not that it is a bad game.

Sounds like it's a typical CI game.
    Flawed and in ways, unfinished.

I can only tell you that I am enjoying it and that I did not (and would not) pay full price for it in it's current state, all that aside, it is far from the worst game out there right now and can be picked up fairly cheaply if you look around.

What an absolutely stunning game graphics wise this is.

To all the naysayer's out there this is what Crytek engine is capable of.
Smooth fps, short loading times and an orgasmic feast for the eyes.

    Thnx Crytek and CI games!
What PC gaming should look like in 2017.
