but but... lana... guess i was expecting to much comic book similarities... they decided to make their own story and have nothing to do with the original one before clark was superman i hate it!

    I can see your point
    BUT
on the flip side of things it recreates an already historic storyline and adds a multitude of possibilities to it.

I just keep being blown away by the great twist and turns of this show that keep surprising, there has not been a show that has been this unpredictable for me in years.

Watch it as though it has nothing to do with Superman (well it really doesn't right :D) and that really helps, think of it like Rosewell meets Dawsons Creek.

crazyace i've got to ask, how is it unpredictable?, it's so easy to predict it's just not funny, "OMG you have superpowers!!!", "OMG i've lost my memory!!!", i mean really, how many times have they done that since series 1, and each week they seem to bring in another superman villan/hero, IMO it's far from unpredictable.

Very true, good actors (apart from Lana[Kristin Kreuk]), nice special effects but copy/pasted scripts

to me who read the comics for a long time this show is unpredictable as it strays so far from the comic that i never know where it is headed.

yes the plots you can see through most the time, but from a comic book POV
it keeps me guessing as they implement some elements but so randomly and out of place but somehow make it all fit into place while maintaining a very watchable experience

Superman the Movie, or Superman the comic book?
I read superboy comics as a Kid and I thought the "S" was part of Ma Kents designed costume for the boy of steel. Then I see Superman the Movie and Marlon Brando has a big "S" on his chest. Does anyone know if the "S" was the EL family symbol before Superman the Movie.
